In this episode, we cover Numbers 15 and 16. In Numbers 15, we get a repeat and a few additions to some offerings to remind the Israelites of how to be holy and have a relationship with God. In Numbers 16, Moses faces more mutiny from the people.

My Bible bender of these passages came in the illustration of how Moses acted towards the Israelites. He is a foreshadowing illustration of how Jesus intercedes for us. In these few chapters alone, Moses intercedes on Israel’s behalf to God. Moses’ intercessions saves the assembly more than three times here even while the assembly is questioning his leadership.
On the outside looking in, it is easy to be frustrated with the Israel’s grumbling and mutiny, but it just shows us how much each of us needs Jesus. We are just as undeserving of intercession as Israel. Are you unappreciative of Jesus’s intercession for you? What are you grumbling about in your life?
