HAYLEY’S BIBLE BENDER:
My Bible bender came through the story of Rahab. Without giving away any spoilers, she was a risk taker and a rule breaker. I love how the scarlet cord is tied into her story of redemption. Susan puts it this way, “The scarlet cord should strike a cord because just as Rahab and her family were saved by the red cord in the window, the Hebrew salves in Egypt were saved by the red blood of the lamb on the door. And we were saved by the red blood of Jesus as He hung on the cross.” What a cool connection! The Bible makes so many of these connections for us to hold onto and learn every day as we progress in our faith.
