The Bible is a history book, but it is also a rich lesson plan for life.

    • It’s so easy to read about the Israelite’s repetitive mistakes throughout history and scoff at them for being obtuse.
    • Yet wisdom or Solomon would tell us inEcclesiastes 1:9

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

There is nothing new under the sun. Mistakes made are repeated, and lessons learned are forgotten. History is our only hope to learn God’s principles without experiencing the consequences of sinning. We must try to learn from those who have gone before us…These bible stories are here for a reason and that is why Bible Book Club is so crucial.

If we do not know the mistakes that others have made in following God’s plan, how can we follow his lesson plan for life?
