Table of Nations Map

This map, by Holman Bible Atlas, shows the Table of Nations map. It highlights how Ham got the largest territory, Shem got the median size, and Japheth the smallest. Like the key mentions, these 3 brothers’ territories was documented as part of Genesis 10. Do you the story of Ham, Shem, and Japheth? Do you know how they were the origin of the various peoples of the world?

I love this map as it highlights various locations in Bible clearly. What do you find fascinating about the map? What do you find intriguing about the map? I love seeing where Shem, Ham, and Japheth settled, especially as it was the starting point for all ancestry before the flood in Noah’s time. I also love that it shows that Canaan (promised land) was a part of Ham’s territory. The map even lists all the various peoples in the Canaan region.

Do you like having the visual? There will be many more maps added over time in the show notes for Biblical event we have yet to study together. Don’t miss out–keep checking the show notes page for updates. If maps aren’t for you, we will include some enlightening charts as well!
